      Robert, I haven’t made the so-called diy smart saw myself so I am not really sure which software would be best suited for this purpose. I checked out the product and wrote this review in order to give an insight of the product to the people who are interested in it so that they can get an idea of possible outcomes and expectations. That’s why I didn’t cover the technicalities and kept it in the broader sense.

      As for your query, I believe that contacting the support team of the product will be the best option to get an idea of what software you need to use. As far as I can remember, I think the course got this topic covered so there’s no need to worry 🙂

    I think anyone reviewing any product should have first hand experience of the product, not just copy information from the advertorials from interested parties. This is not a proper review, and the recommendation is suspect. This site should have a higher standard of product review.

    I purchased this yesterday and have been going through the parts required to make it. Most of the links supplied to purchase the mechanical and electronic components do not work. I contacted the support team and received a quick response that you have to basically search sites like ebay to find them. I’ve priced the parts i have found so far and can’t see how this is going to be built for much less than $1000 (if i can find all the parts) so i have decided to take them up on their offer of a full refund.

      Oh…when we checked out the product the links were working just fine. I believe they have gotten outdated and it’s bad on the part of the product makers for not supplying with new one within their course.

      But even though if you could find the parts on sites like EBay and are able to make it in around 1,000$ then it isn’t a bad deal at all….or is it? As compared to general CNC machines it’s still cost effective.

      Anyways, that’s just my opinion. And you see this is the place where this refund guarantee works like a charm. At the end, you didn’t lose anything 🙂
